So for young women's camp our ward's cabin is Japan. I decided that in addition to the many other things we found (lanterns, Japanese candy/snacks, etc) I would make the girls little backpacks to carry their camp manuals, journals, pens or pencils, and whatever in.

Here is a sample: (I have them all sewn, now just have to do the straps on the other 13.)


I just love this Asian fabric I found!!

That bag looks really nice! That's cool that you went to camp too! My stake assigned colors to each ward, so my ward is orange. We made orange bags for our girls for the same thing!
