So I tried making the cute little crocheted flip flops that mom made for Joyce, and realized that it wasn't the best first project because my gauge was pretty uneven - one was half was huge, the other was super tiny. So I moved onto an easier project... A hat - it turned out pretty cute, though a little small - luckily I'm sure there's another little head that it will eventually fit.
